Welcome to the Red Lodge Community Church
Worship On-Line Service for June 26, 2022
Worship Leader, Rev. Dr. Pam Peterson
If you are joining us in person, the service is at 10:00 a.m.
Our Mission: “The Red Lodge Community Church, United Church of Christ, welcomes all people to gather for worship, fellowship and to study God’s Word. We seek to be servants of our Lord in the care of all people.”
Land Acknowledgement: We acknowledge, with humility, that the land upon which we worship today was once the land of the Apsaalooke People, those who we now know as the Crow People. Their stewardship and relationship with the land is the stewardship and relationship that we hope to honor with the mission of this church.
Welcome and Announcements
Hymn – SB #5 “Morning Has Broken”
Call to Worship
One: The way of our God is holy.
Many: Holy One, we seek your presence in our midst.
One: The way of our God is wondrous.
Many: Wondrous God, we marvel at your works and marvelous deeds.
One: The way of our God is awesome.
Many: Awesome God, we call out to you in hope.
Prayer of CONFESSION
Restoring God, too often we accept the conditions of the world around us and impose limitations on what is possible. We bind ourselves to societal conventions, norms, and pressure rather than follow you and your way. We conform to the values of this world rather than pursue the fruit of the Spirit. Show us the path of life and freedom in you. Teach us to plant seeds of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May we perennially bear that fruit.

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

We give you thanks, God Our Help, for the abundance of the gifts you have planted in us as seeds that we may share in bloom. May these offerings be received and magnified for your glory.
