Thank you to everyone who has been keeping up with their pledges and regular giving to our church. We are committed to learning our new normal together. You can continue to make your pledge by mailing your check to the church office, P.O. Box 786 (Red Lodge), or you can take advantage of our new on-line giving opportunities given below. Our commitment to Social Services support such as the Baretooth Cupboards, Boys and Girls Club and others continue. If you have any questions or concerns about your continued Stewardship of our church, please reach out to [email protected].
Online and Text Giving is So Easy!
Online Giving
As you peruse the Online Giving options below, you will see that online giving is as easy as filling in your information and choosing which fund you’d like to see your contributions go into. The drop-down menu on the top right side of the section offers options such as “2025 Operation Pledge”, “Building Use”, and so on. If you'd like to contribute to more than one fund, you may do so by choosing the "add gift to another fund" option beneath your first chosen fund. Once you choose this option, you can fill in the amount you'd like to give and select the fund you'd like your gift to go to. Any payments not otherwise designated, will go into the General Fund (Open Collections), as do pledges. However, in order for your pledges to be properly recorded, you need to select "2025 Operation Pledge” when you make or set up your payments. At the bottom of the form, you have the option of choosing your giving frequency (once, weekly, etc.).
If you're more interested in Text Giving, please scroll down below the Online Giving form for more on how it works.
Text Giving
3Text Giving is also very easy. Just text to the number 1-406-400-9727 to initiate your contribution. If you’re a first-time text giver, the system will ask you for your payment information. If you’ve already set that information up, you can simply text to the number with the word “give” then the dollar amount you’d like to give (i.e.; “give $50”). Alternatively, after you’re all set up, you can simply text “$50” and the system will make your payment of $50.
You can designate your text giving to specific funds by texting the amount and the keyword for the name of the fund, i.e.; “$50 Pledge” for making your pledge payment. Key words for the funds currently set up for our church are: Open Collections Operation Pledge Baretooth – Baretooth Cupboards B&GClub – Boys and Girls Club Building – Building Use Pastor - Pastor's Discretionary Fund Memorials – Memorials
We may have more funds set up at a later date, but for now, that’s it. Again, any pledge not specifically designated will go into the General Fund.
If you need to update your preferences or information, just text the word “update” and you’ll be walked through the appropriate screens to make those changes. If you make a payment in err, text the word “refund” within 24 hours and your payment will be reversed. If you have any questions about online or text giving, please let us know.
How your donations help
Why Give to Your Church A church, like any organization, is a give-and-take operation. If you're fed on Sunday mornings, ministered through crisis, or attend a Wednesday night fellowship dinner, you're benefiting from your church. And that's a good thing. You're supposed to benefit from your church! But those things can't happen without financial support.
The building and the land have to be purchased and maintained. The pastors and other staff need to be paid. The light and heat bills have to be paid. Cleaning supplies, Bibles, chairs, and hymnals must be purchased. There's work to do and things to buy.
If you're volunteering, that's great. Volunteering is important. But your volunteer labor, precious as it is, doesn't keep the lights on or feed the poor. You're part of the church family; please consider your support of the family.
Local, National, and World Mission Support The Red Lodge Community Church gives to our families and our community in very real and tangible ways. We offer a safe place in our town where we can question and seek understanding for our lives. As a faith community, we give to the Red Lodge Community Foundation, the Baretooth Cupboards, Carbon County Boys & Girls Club, Beartooth Children's Center, Domestic and Sexual Violence Services of Carbon County, and the Quilters of the Community Church provide baby quilts to provide warmth and comfort to infants at risk. We host many community events in our building and support them with the use of our commercial kitchen. Additionally, the Community Church provides for Global Missions and the work of the wider Church throughout Montana and the United States. Your contributions make all of this possible.
